(Almost) Monthly Blog Update

Your building needs love.  Dave is here to provide it.

Dave Wren loves buildings.   Thats why we hired him to be Real Assets’ Building Technician. While you and I love the look and feel of exposed brick and great loft spaces, Dave is enraptured with the wires, fuses, plumbing and temperature controls.   Dave comes to us with a wealth of experience working for the big guys: CB Richard Ellis, Tishman Speyer, Safeway Maintenance, oh, and the US Army!

And we love Dave.  We are sure you will too when you get to have him solve some of your maintenance headaches- hopefully not too soon.  And now we also have a great new format for responding to your requests.

Through our new on-line maintenance request website you can place and Dave can receive and respond to your maintenance requests  with just a a few clicks. It’s not that we don’t like to talk to you, we are just trying to be efficient to ensure your requests get logged and responded to immediately.

You can expect to hear back from Dave within two hours of placing a maintenance request- often with an in-person visit.  So please use our website to make your maintenance request for all but the most dire emergencies.

Tenant Spotlight
Thanks to Enotes for renewing at 1605 Boylston!
Enotes has been one of Pine and Boylston’s longest standing tenants.  I think only Rudy’s and the lesser know Corky have been here longer (much longer).  But what do they d0? – even I am not all that sure, lets take a look in the linked video:

Consumption and Conservation

Gas Charges for March

If that were not enough, Dave is charged with translating Real Assets’s Smart Spaces Vision into a building’s performance.  He monitors energy usage, looks for ways to reduce use and costs.   Dave has been through the LEED application process for several prior buildings and we expect him to LEAD us to LEED in our portfolio of properties.  So far we are upgrading toilets at the BV apartment building, installing lighting occupancy sensors at 1605 and at 624 S Lander, and relamping areas of 1633 and 1605 boylston with hopes to continue on to more properties as we get city rebate programs under our belts.
