Schedule for Week of November 28th, 2011

November 25th, 2011

Dear Tenants,

Pete and I had several “reality check” moments this week.  We have since made modifications to the schedule to try to restore the building common areas to their rightful, non-construction-zone, state. Thank you for your patience.  (see below post about insurance negotiations for an explanation of the delay).

We need one more week of patience as we work to restore the restrooms and corridors and get the construction guys and their messes out of your way!

Be Prepared for One more Week:
Monday and Tuesday- we will be working in the upstairs restroom drywalling, painting and installing the necessary electrical so it is fully functional, clean and available for use by mid-week.
Wednesday – Friday- we will be working in the downstairs Rudy’s restroom and adjacent corridor to make sure it is fully functional, clean and available for use by the following monday.

We will post directional signage in the building letting clients and customers know when there is a closure of the restroom and where to find alternate facilities (up or downstairs).

Throughout the week we will be trying to improve workman traffic, messes, and impacts on the hallways.  By the end of the week I hope to have restored a restroom on each floor and made the hallways as good as new.  We will then begin to isolate work in specific areas and provide notice as fewquently as possible of any impacts.

Thanks so much for bearing with us.  Please do not hesitate to call us with any concerns about noise, messes or any outages.

Have a great holiday weekend.  See you monday!

GivingThanks

November 23rd, 2011

Pete and I would like to extend our extreme thanks to all of our fantastic tenants for making our jobs both productive and exciting.  We appreciate that we have a job that we get to work with great, hard-working people (mostly!) and great properties.

We know that the Real Assets of our business are you, the tenants!

On that note we’d like to wish you and your loved ones a very happy thanksgiving and wonderful holiday season.

Update on Fire Restoration Schedule

November 23rd, 2011

Heath Properties, the owners of the building, have been seeking an insurance settlement with Safeco Insurance.  Initially this seemed like an easy process, but has been complicated with a disagreement over the cost of repair work.  Real Assets is seeking to resolve the issue by working with the adjustor directly; however, the settlement has been delayed pending a negotiated settlement.  Until such a settlement is reached it is very difficult to begin the repair-work as it necessarily hides the damage.  We will keep you posted.  In the meantime Real Assets will increase its efforts at keeping the common areas clean and usable, including the bathrooms.

Thank you very much for your patience.  If you have specific issues within your space that need to be addressed, please email peter with those requests and we will try to tend to the issues that may be most affecting your ability to conduct business.

Adam
